Belgrade, 25th June: Maj-Gen Mihailo Djordja Zugic, assistant Chief of General Staff of the Yugoslav Army, was killed at 1420 1220 gmt today when a helicopter of the Yugoslav Air Force crashed on landing at Nis airport southern Serbia .
Aircraft technician, Sergeant Major Milan Dragomira Senic, also died from injuries sustained in the crash. Pilots Captain Radovan Ranka Vuckovic and Captain Goran Aleksandra Milekic were injured and are being treated in the military hospital in Nis.
The injured and the scene of the crash have been visited by Chief of General Staff of the Yugoslav Army Col-Gen Momcilo Perisic, commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, Lt-Col-Gen Ljubisa Velickovic, and commander of the 3rd Army district Lt-Col-Gen Dusan Samardzic.
